At Smart Disability Accommodation, we design and build customised dwellings for people with complex and high disability support needs. Our family has worked in the disability sector for more than 5 years. We are working closely with guardians and families to create tailored, disability-friendly living spaces that empower our residents to live with greater freedom.

Our home is equipped with smart
features

such as voice and app-controlled lighting, blinds, heating, cooling, doors, a sprinkler system and many more for tenants’ convenience.

As a trusted NDIS-registered provider for SDA in the Geelong area,

we successfully implemented the Specialist Disability Accommodation Design Standards in the design and development of our Smart dwelling. Beyond construction, we provide comprehensive property management and maintenance services, ensuring all our properties comply with government regulations.

Our mission is simple: To give our clients greater control over their daily lives and their environment. We are putting our mission into action by integrating life-changing smart technology in specially adapted homes.
We carefully choose convenient locations in Geelong and build our dwellings from the ground up guided by our future residents’ needs.
We work towards a future where every home facilitates independence for people with disabilities.

Dr. Sargent Kotus

Founder, CEO

PhD in Computer Science and Astrophysics

As a founder and CEO of Smart Disability Accommodation Sargent is dedicated to applying technological advancements to empower individuals with disabilities.

His fascination with using technology to improve lives was evident from an early age. He began his career in the sciences, to whom he honed his technological skills. However, it was in the disability sector that he discovered a more profound purpose – the tremendous potential of technology to enhance lives.

With prior experience in property development, this realisation led to the creation of Smart Disability Accommodation, a family company dedicated to applying technological advancements to empower individuals with disabilities and significantly improve their quality of life.

Sargent stands at the forefront of innovation. Currently, he is tirelessly developing cutting-edge programs to control smart home devices, all with one mission: to seamlessly integrate technology with their specially designed SDA home. He is dedicated to the continuous improvement of the house features and is focused on tailoring the smart home devices to your specific needs.

Anna Kotus

Founder, Managing Director

Anna is a dedicated professional with a strong background in disability support and a passion for positively impacting the lives of Australians with disabilities.

She joined her husband on the mission to create a one-of-a-kind Smart SDA Group Home for people with high disability support needs.

As a Care Coordinator and House Supervisor, she is committed to helping clients and their families lead meaningful lives. At the same time, she is applying her knowledge and experience in the careful design and development of their Smart SDA group dwelling.
