The NDIS considers 3 aspects when deciding on a disabled person’s eligibility for an SDA.

1. Whether your have extreme functional impairment and significant support needs. 

2. Whether SDA the right type of housing for you, and are there other options that might suit your situation better.

3. Does your situation meet the NDIS funding criteria.

4. Should I have SDA funding approved before I can apply for the Smart SDA Group Home?

Yes, you need to have approved SDA funding before you apply for the Smart SDA House.  If you still not have SDA funding approved please get in touch and we can help you in your SDA journey.

5. Can I live in a Smart SDA Group Home if I don’t have High Physical Disability?

We encourage our residents to have a social life and maintain social connections with friends and family. We welcome gatherings with close friends and family in our indoor or outdoor areas. The garden and the barbecue are at our tenants’ and their guests’ disposal.

Yes. The Smart technology in our house is certified and installed by certified professionals, which guarantees a safe and reliable experience. With uninterrupted power supply and manual override switches connected to the fire panel, our tenants safety is secured in case of emergency.
